Hudson Police Arrest Nashua Man After Chase

Aug. 25 — Hudson police arrested a man for driving under the influence of alcohol after a hit-and-run near Central and Greeley streets Saturday morning.

Local police officers noticed a Nissan work van driving erratically and rear-ended a sedan. The Nissan continued to drive away. Police stopped the van and the driver, identified as Kevin Raymond, 46, of Nashua, fled the scene.

A short pursuit was discontinued due to traffic and public safety concerns, according to a news release.

Nashua police later located the vehicle at Raymond's address.

He was charged with driving after an accident, disobeying an officer (two counts), reckless driving, driving after suspension, driving while intoxicated, aggravated attempted driving while intoxicated to elude police and criminal mischief, the release said.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 29 in Nashua District Court.
