Amber Alert in Fort Bend: Missing boy Ryan Akagbusi found dead in neighborhood lake

Fort Bend County – The search for Ryan Akagbusi, 8, who has been missing for Fort Bend Countycame to a tragic end this morning when he was found in a lake near his home by Texas EquuSearch. Ryan, who was non-verbal and autistic, had been missing since early Saturday morning.

According to police, Ryan was last seen around 4:30 a.m. on Kendall Lake Drive in Richmond. His mother noticed he was missing shortly after last seeing him at 4 a.m. When she started looking for him, she found his shoes at the end of the road. A neighbor's security camera later showed Ryan running through the neighborhood.

Authorities and volunteers searched the area intensively over the weekend.
