Boston police identify man killed in Dorchester stabbing

Police on Monday identified the man killed in a knife attack in Dorchester on Friday night.

David Abrain, 52, of Roxbury, died after being stabbed on Dorchester Avenue, police said.

David Adams, 38, of Dorchester, was arrested Saturday in connection with the fatal stabbing. Adams is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on murder charges at a later date.

At approximately 9:59 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 1879 Dorchester Ave. for a report of a person stabbed.

When they arrived at the scene, the police found Abrain injured by a stab wound. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
