Moss Point man identified as victim of fatal Hwy 26 crash in George Co.

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – A Moss Point man was identified as the victim in a deadly crash in George County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

On Friday, August 23, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Highway 26 in George County.

A 2003 Toyota Tundra driven by 43-year-old Richard Walker was traveling east on the highway when his vehicle went off the roadway and overturned.

As a result, Walker received fatal injuries from the crash and died on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
