Victim stabbed multiple times in downtown Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Police continue to seek information after a victim was stabbed multiple times.

Officers were called to the area of ​​Chestnut and Fillmore at 8:20 a.m. Saturday morning for reports of a stabbing.

“Upon arrival, they learned that a domestic violence incident had occurred, in which one party had been stabbed multiple times,” a CSPD lieutenant said.

Officers found the victim and rushed him to hospital. His injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.

Police said the suspect was found near Barnes Road and Austin Bluffs and taken into custody. He is Hertminia Montoya-Balbastro, 31.
