3 Los Angeles Girls Missing, Including Newborn With Heart Disease

Los Angeles authorities are searching for three missing girls last seen Sunday night, including a newborn baby with a serious heart condition.

Amoria Brown, 14, was last seen around 10 p.m. local time Sunday with her 3-week-old daughter, Omoria Brown, and her 15-year-old sister-in-law, Sanaii Brown, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The newborn has a heart condition that requires daily medication, according to the LAPD news release.

The girls were last spotted in the El Sereno neighborhood of Los Angeles and were believed to be heading to the desert area with their families, the LAPD added.

An LAPD spokesperson told USA TODAY Monday that no further information regarding their disappearance or whereabouts could be provided at this time.

Families seek public's help

The families of the missing children are asking for the public's help in finding them, the press release said. Photos of the three missing children were shared on X.

Amoria is a black female with black hair and brown eyes who stands 5'4″ (1.63 m) tall and weighs approximately 140 lbs (63 kg). She was last seen wearing a multi-colored shirt as well as gray shorts and gray sandals.

Sanaii is described as a black female with black hair and brown eyes who is 5'4″ tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. Authorities have not provided a description of what she was wearing when she was last seen.
