Police: Police trace missing 12-year-old girl in Thiruvananthapuram | Thiruvananthapuram News

Thiruvananthapuram: Just after the disappearance from Thasmith Thamsum last week which left everyone panicked and anxious, another girl, aged 12, has left missing from Kazhakkoottam police station limits in the early hours of Sunday.
Fortunately, the girl was found in Nedumangad a few hours after she went missing. Chempazhanthy's daughter left home at 1 am on Sunday after her mother scolded her. The girl who was studying in Class VIII left home with a bag containing her dresses and other necessary items.
When her parents woke up in the night, they found her missing and a complaint was lodged at the Kazhakkoottam police station without delay. The police launched an investigation after registering a complaint under Section 57 of the Kerala Police Act.
Kazhakkoottam police promptly alerted all police stations and railway police and intensified search in every nook and corner of the city. A photo of the child was also shared in all police groups. Nedumangad police were able to trace her at noon from the bus stand.
She told police that she was upset after her mother scolded her for using her mobile phone and decided to leave the house. She stayed in a grove of trees near the house till 5 am and then took a bus to Nedumangad. She was sitting at the bus stop thinking about where to go when she was noticed by the police.
She received therapy and was allowed to leave with her parents after completing the necessary procedures.
