Kadir Shah's 6-year-old child Sadan had gone missing while playing outside his house. In the evening, Kadir Shah and his elder brother went to Nadim Shah's house. The accused took a long time to open the door. When they entered, they saw Sadan lying on a sack with his throat and stomach covered in blood. Nadim, holding a knife, threatened to kill anyone who opposed him. The child was rushed to Victoria Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Convinced by the evidence presented in court, the trial court found the accused guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
