Wolcott Police Arrest Suspect, Victim Stabbed in Head

WOLCOTT, Conn. (WFSB) – Wolcott police have arrested a suspect who stabbed a person in the head Thursday night.

Officers are currently on Saddle Road, where the stabbing took place.

Police say two people, including suspect Austin Baker, 30, got into an argument over text messages earlier in the day.

Baker then arrived at the Saddle Road home with a knife.

The victim was stabbed in the back of the head, but fortunately suffered only minor injuries.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Baker fled the scene on foot but was quickly located and arrested by a Wolcott officer.
