Three people stabbed in far east of city; suspect in custody

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Three people were injured in a stabbing on the city's far east side Sunday, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

On Sunday at approximately 2:47 p.m., IMPD officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Breen Drive for a report of a person stabbed. When officers arrived, they found three people suffering from stab wounds. All three victims were transported to local hospitals in stable condition.

Officers arrested a suspect at the scene.

Investigators did not immediately release additional information.
