Syrian suspect identified in festival stabbing case

German prosecutors on Sunday identified the 26-year-old Syrian man suspected of deadly knife attacks at a festival as Issa Al H., withholding his full name in line with German privacy laws.

The attacks left three people dead and eight injured. Authorities suspect the man of being affiliated with the Islamic State group.

The incident has heightened concerns about security and counter-terrorism measures at public events across Germany.
