The victim was reportedly sleeping in her bed when she woke up to Brown attacking her with a knife. Police said that after the stabbing, Brown tried to start a fire inside the home.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, but his condition is unclear.

The Gulfport Police Department said that while detectives were questioning Brown, she said she planned to kill the victim because she found her “weird bitch.” Police say Brown also allegedly accused the victim of “repressing the black in her.”
