The Los Angeles County Sheriff is asking for the public's help in locating missing and endangered teen Jaylah Melanie Jaimes, last seen in Paramount

August 25, 2024 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that Sheriff’s Department detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing at-risk juvenile Jaylah Melanie Jaimes. She is a 14-year-old Hispanic female who was last seen on August 23, 2024, at 3:45 p.m. in the 14000 block of Downey Avenue in the City of Paramount.

Jaylah is 6'1″ and weighs 110 lbs. She has black eyes and hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans and had no known whereabouts.

Jaylah suffers from depression and her family is concerned for her well-being.
