Search for missing schoolgirl last seen at McDonald's

Police said they were “increasingly concerned” for Lilly Butler's welfare

Police have said they are “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a missing teenager, last seen at McDonald's. Lilly Butler, 15, was reported missing after she was last seen in the Latchford area of ​​Warrington at around 4.30pm on Thursday, August 22.

She has since been spotted in and around Orford Park and McDonald's on Winwick Road at 7.30pm on Saturday 24 August, and has also been spotted in the Latchford area. Lilly is described as white, slim build, with red hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey jeans and trainers.


Inspector Anthony Sullivan said: “It has been three days since Lilly was reported missing and although she has been sighted in the Warrington area, we are increasingly concerned for her welfare. Enquiries to locate her are ongoing and I would urge anyone who believes they have seen Lilly since her disappearance, or knows of her whereabouts, to contact us.

“The same goes for anyone who has CCTV or dash cam footage of her since she went missing. I would also like to speak directly to Lilly and ask her to contact her family or the police.”
